Vain Fugitive Sends Selfie To Cops After Seeing “Terrible” Mugshot On Facebook

facebook iconA 45-year-old Ohio man named Donald “Chip” Pugh is wanted for failure to appear in court regarding a drunken driving case, and is also a person of interest in several other cases involving arson and vandalism. Thankfully for police, Pugh is more vain than your run-of-the-mill fugitive; when he saw his mug shot that police shared on Facebook, he sent them another picture instead and called the pic they had “terrible.”

Lt. Andy Green said that police are now combing through the comments on Pugh’s picture to find clues or tips to his whereabouts.

“He’s drawing more attention to himself, which is going to make it easier for us to locate him, because the more attention that this post garners, the more people are going to see it, the more tips are going to come in about this guy,” Green said. “So our hope at this point is that he will come to his senses and turn himself in and stop making this worse for himself.”

There’s little doubt that Pugh will be caught for his alleged crimes sooner rather than later, and when he is, he’ll have nothing but his own Facebook stupidity to blame.
