Why it’s a Scam:
Once you click on the Wall Post link, you are taken to the following page:
If you “like” the page, you are spreading the scam to your friends. Your newsfeed will display a message like the one displayed above, and anyone on your friends list or that has access to your newsfeed is a potential victim. If you continue following the scammers suggestions, you eventually end up to the following survey scam screen: o the following screen, and as you should know, this is how the scammers get paid.
How to Deal with the Scam:
If you did “like” the page and suggest the page to your friends, then you should clean-up your newsfeed and alert your friends so that they won’t fall for this or similar Facebook scams.
If you made the mistake of submitting your cell phone number for any of the surveys, then you should contact your carrier immediately to keep any bogus charging from appearing.
