2 Florida teens charged with felony over cyberbullying incident

taylor_barkerTwo Florida teenagers are in serious trouble for cyber bullying a classmate. 16-year-old Taylor Wynn and 15-year-old McKenzie Barker have been charged by Lee County authorities with a felony count of aggravated stalking of a minor under 16.

The teens allegedly created a fake Facebook page of their victim in April of last year. They altered images by placing the victim’s face on the body of a nude prepubescent girl’s body. Other pictures showed the victim’s mouth next to a male erect penis. The bullies also posted several nasty comments on the page over an extended period. Sadly, the page amassed 181 friends before being removed.

A sheriff assigned to the school was notified of the Facebook page, and he was responsible for calling in the FBI’s Innocent Images Task Force.

Wynn’s mother asked her what would possess her to do such a thing, Wynn is said to have replied, “Because nobody liked her.” The girls also said that they created the page as a joke because they thought it would be funny.

Investigating officers stated the girls have shown very little remorse over the incident.
