ABC 11 reports that Tony Michael English, a 38-year-old registered sex offender has violated the terms of his probation by contacting his former victims using the social networking site MySpace.

Investigators stated that English sent his former child victims private messages. English told authorities he didn’t see anything wrong with his actions since the victims are now adults.

English has been charged with felonious use of a commercial social networking website by a registered sex offender. This law was enacted in 2008 to help protect children from sexual predators on social networking sites.

English is currently being held in the Cumberland County Detention Center on a $25,000 bond.
