Why it’s a Scam: Facebook Fanpage directs you to a page with a survey that will ask for your personal information and sometimes even your cellphone number – in which case you will be signed up for a mobile phone premium rate service.

How to Deal with the Scam:

If you did make the mistake of passing the link onto your friends, you should clean-up your newsfeed and profile to remove references to the link. If you have given your mobile phone number, contact your service provider immediately to unsubscribe from the scam service.
