Why it’s a Scam:

Once you click on the Wall Post link, you are taken to the following page:

When you “CLICK HERE to get your Free 30 x 30 Expansion!” you are taken to the following screen:

The end game is obviously another survey scammer trying to get paid. Don’t complete the survey and give them more of your personal information. You won’t receive a 30 x 30 expansion, but the scammers will have gained another victim. Always check Zynga’s official website for news on official promotions. Don’t fall for scams on 3rd party, bogus sites.

How to Deal with the Scam:

If you followed their directions clicking “like” and “share,” you need to clean-up your newsfeed and profile to remove references to the application.

If you submitted your cell phone number for any of the surveys, then you should contact your carrier immediately to keep any bogus charges from appearing.
